As of June 26th, PlayStation 3 owners attempting to access Hulu through the console's built-in, Flash-enabled web browser will find videos blocked and unviewable.
Hulu's terms of service were changed on the 26th, but there are still no specific references to the PlayStation 3. This follows in the footsteps of Hulu blocking Boxee, a third-party solution for viewing web video on a TV. Support for Hulu in Boxee has been off and on.
Engadget notes that this could be a glitch with the PS3's recent 2.80 firmware upgrade, but users are reporting the same error with earlier firmware versions.
Boot up your PS3's and let us know if you're able to watch Hulu videos.
Update: Spong.com is reporting that a possible deal between Microsoft and Hulu for Microsoft to "provide consumers with personalised content and advertising across all media platforms within three years." Could this be the reason for Hulu blocking the PlayStation 3 or just a coincidence?

What's funny about all of this is watching you defend yourself when someone attacks one of your idiotic comments. Your only defense is to tell them that they're creepy, or that they're "stalking" your comments, or to mind their own business. The reality is, your dopey comments are littered all over these blogs and people are just trying to take out the trash. The problem is the trash just keeps blowing back into the yard. Some ignore the trash, others kick it around, and people like Redd just want to get rid of it for good.

On topic, I don't think MS would see viewing Hulu on the PS3's browser as a threat (threat's too strong of a word, but you know what I'm saying.)

I actually remember trying to visit Hulu via my PS3 like 3 months ago and I got this message. So it's nothing new.

Oh not at all. I hated Valve since they infected their PC games with the Steam virus. It's just good coincidence they don't care for PS3. Hulu is just TV online and I don't watch a lot of TV. Too much BS and far too many ads. Outside of some animated shows and maybe 5 channels total or a whole 2 nights a week there's nothing worth viewing, making Hulu useless.

Well, I don't know if its Hulu or not, but the PS3 browser seemed pretty flaky on my brief inspection a few moments ago. One site that used to work fine is now giving repeated "out of memory" error messages. I won't pretend to know when this started as I rarely browse the web with the PS3 (the browser still kind of sucks - please Sony, give up on your browser and fund a Firefox port!).
