Hironobu Sakaguchi has been hiding. The Blue Dragon developer's Mistwalker studio has been silently plugging away at their next projects, but Sakaguchi has blogged a little bit about what Mistwalker is currently working on, reports Kotaku.
Sakaguchi doesn't reveal any details about the game, only that the game's main system (I'm assuming he means battle system for a new RPG) is "almost done." The system itself apparently "makes tactical use of 'confusion and order.'"
Er, whatever that means.

I got Blue Dragon with my 360 and really tried to like it but could only stomach about 4 hours of it. I just found it really tedious, I suppose turn-based games aren't for me. The visual style is pretty good but for me that's all it has going for it. I wish I'd just sold it on when I got it in 2008, its worth peanuts now.

I didn't really like Lost Odyssey, the story just bore me into not even playing past and hour of it, I got bored and went back to playing old school arcade games. For blue dragon, people said "Oh!, it has the three genius's from The Chrono Trigger series, so it has to be good!" well If the title is not Chrono Break, then I why even bother making it. I mean RPG fans want to only see two games, A true sequel to Chrono Trigger being made as Chrono Break or Final Fantasy VII remade for the PS3.

Blue Dragon was so boring that I didn't get past disc 1, but Lost Odyssey was very good. I'm very optimistic about this one.

I hate to sound like a typical jaded gamer, but as a fan of RPG's, I wasn't impressed with either Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey. Lost Odyssey was okay, but it didn't hold my interest, and it was far better than Blue Dragon.
Hopefully "The Gooch" comes up with something better this time around.

Wasn't a big fan of Blue Dragon. But Lost Odyssey was a pretty good game with a very good story.
