Considering Bungie’s upcoming Halo 3: ODST recently topped GamePlan Insight’s list of the 50 most anticipated games post-E3 (Gamasutra), it’s hardly surprising that something as big as an achievements list has allegedly been leaked. In fact, as far as rumors go, ODST has remained mostly untouched up to this point, so I guess it was overdue.
Anyway, as Joystiq reports, a video has popped up on YouTube apparently showing the full list of achievements for ODST. Most of the items are similar to those found in previous Halo installments (i.e. finish X level on X difficulty, get 10 rocket kills on X map, etc.), but there are few that seem to reveal several of the locations that players will be traversing during their time as an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper scouring the ruins of New Mombasa.
Other achievements reveal some new enemy and item types found throughout the game, as well as a few of the new characters that players can expect to encounter. Of course, this is all speculation at this point, but if you want to keep your mind clear of even possible spoilers, then keep your eyes shut from through the break.
Like I said, this list will most likely remain unconfirmed until ODST is released in September, so do with this "leak" what you will. I’m still waiting to hear back from Microsoft and/or Bungie as of publication, so stay tuned.

Everyone knows that Call of Duty 4 and 5 have a way shorter story than Halo 3 and probably ODST. And Counterstrike sucks! Yeah super fun to kill maybe 1 or 2 guys and then be killed and wait for 5 mins.
One more thing, Halo does have a good story, its better than Killzone story.

the one thing i really hated about halo3 and i agree with pcpwnsconsoles on this one but the flood were to damn easy, infact they were pushovers compared to halo 1 and 2, same goes for the jackals just shoot the sides of there shields and they go down in 2 or 3 shots just like the grunts nad the drones do
the only satisfaction i got from halo3 was killing 343 guilty spark, thats it
go spend your money on shooters like killzone2,resistance,gears of war,army of two,cod4 or 5, halflife,bioshock fps's that have quality instead of that halo crap

first off the multiplayer isnt that great its the same as the other one they just add a few extra maps which are all crap, the weapons all suck except for the battle rifle and the gravity hammer
the ai is atrocious and mediocore on so many levels, the marines ai is only good for manning the chaingun on the warthog other than that there to dumb to keep themselves alive and offer zero assistance whatsoever, if they ever drive a vehicle they'll drive it into a rock and stay that way forever
the enemy ai is no different ,they shoot at you for a few seconds and then start running around screaming like little girls, the brutes are tuff but still stupid they spend more time trying to bash than shoot you

i can give 2 damns about how many ppl play halo or how much it sold, the game is still a piece of overhyped crap. Im not saying this because im anti 360, infact i love my 360 and obsessed with gears of war, but halo3 is just halo2 with slightly polished visuals its the same alien shootem up crap bungie isnt getting my money for a lame halo game until they make some serious adjustments

OK how the heck is Halo 3 dead and how is it a bad game? like I said there are close to 2 million matches logged each week day on halo 3 and to put that into perspective that is more than how much KZ2 sold (1.7 mil) and each week day (mon- thurs) there are about 800,000 people who play it each day and over a million almost every Friday Saturday and Sunday but also most whining 12 year olds I hear are on COD WaW and COD 4 once in about every 20 halo games I here a 12 year old complaining but all have to do is tell them to be quit and once in every 50 games there is a 12 year old or younger who won't shut up so I just use one amazing thing in H3 called the mute button where you mute other people but the most people I meet in Matchmaking are 20 or older. but I'm going to go play either halo crysis or BF2 and I also need to get my WoW sub renewed :(

Who says that a game needs to be original to be great? God of War III looks like II with better graphics and more enemies... yet I'll still buy it. Not only does ODST appeal to mass consumers but it will be a great game in general. If you looking for originality then go wait for Brutal Legend because that litterally is the only truley original game set to come out for awhile. Oh and before you jump in and say Heavy Rain that's not an original concept.

I think World of Warcraft and the Sims are aimed at and played by socially inept people, but I don't feel a need to get on a post about their games and bash them? This comment by itself completely destroys your arguments, cause it proves you actually haven't even played the game, the "3 foot aliens" (aptly named grunts) you referring to are the weakest most insignificant enemies in the game aka mushroom men in Mario. So apparently all you're ammo for bashing Halo is hear-say.......As for my my opinion..... Halo 3 has the best online multiplayer in the history of gaming, which is why I'm a fan.

another thing is that the flood you could rip threw like tissue paper, because bungie made them so frail and easy to kill, halo2 the flood ripped you apart and chewed your a$$ up
in halo3 they fall drop like flies, melee attacks can kill them instantaneously, they were immune to melee in the others
and if you ever compare the campaign length of halo3 to other fps games like half life,quake,deus ex,call of duty 1,2,3,4,5,crysis,stalker,cryos tasis,bioshock its pretty damn short

i know that the brutes and hunters arnt 3 feet tale, but 90% of your encounters are grunts and jackals which dont take a whole lot of effort to kill, and the brutes are just as dumbed as the grunts just that they dont chicken out, shoot there armor off and they stop shooting and start rushing at you trying to maul you to death, when you get in that position you melee attack them and they die
halo3 made everything to damn easy and extremely short

halo3 got killed by world of warcraft, the first sims game which has sold over 16 million copies, and wii play, even thought cod4 is multyplat it still outsold killed halo
the campaign does take a few hours to beat, even most ppl who played the game even agree with that, plus it was 10 times shorted compared to halo 1 and 2
the whole pink and purple thing plus the 3 foot aliens doesnt really make the enemies intimidating, bungie should of worked more on making the enemies fearsome and bada$$ instead of making them 3 feet tall and use a bunch of pink and purple weapons
