The almost universally positive response to Sucker Punch Production's first recent non-Sly Cooper game, the anti-hero open-world adventure inFamous, would suggest that a sequel is pretty much a given. But could inFamous 2 already be in development? There's a small hint, filed away in a new Sucker Punch job listing that could suggest that's actually true.
Sucker Punch added three new job descriptions to their web site yesterday -- art director, lead animator, lead character artist -- that were all for the studio's "forthcoming AAA title," which is so far unannounced. The rumor's been that Sucker Punch would return to Sly Cooper before inFamous 2, but maybe the company's actually working on both.
A bullet point in the description for lead character artist is what tipped me off, as one of the requirements is being "aware of current urban style and street fashion." That jives with the look of Cole and other characters. Unless the next Sly Cooper is aiming for realism, I'm guessing this is for the inFamous team.
Of course, this is almost the definition of a non-story. inFamous 2? Duh. It's just a matter of Sucker Punch getting far enough into development to finally talk about it, which isn't going to be for some time. Any suggestions for the team?

I'm ready for a sequel as soon as Sucker Punch is ready. That ending had me craving more considering the hints it gave.

I definitely think it's possible that they may be working on both. That being said, I'd expect inFamous 2 before Sly Cooper. With Ratchet & Clank releasing this fall/winter (hopefully) they won't try to compete with their fellow developers in the same genre. Remember that Sucker Punch, Insomniac and Naughty Dog all help each other - which is IMO part of the reason they all put out such great games.

another sly cooper would be a great way to use the publicity momentum they got from Infamous to notch another solid AAA title into their belts. Sly Cooper has always been a really good franchise, but it hasn't ever really gotten the attention it deserves. Now is the time to get just that. With that said, I am very excited for the next Infamous game.

lame. even though infamous was quite a nice surprise how good it was. i'm not looking forward another sequel so soon. i'd rather see another sly cooper title or a whole new ip for sucker punch to undertake

Honestly I never played Sly Cooper. Thus I would much rather prefer Infamous 2. Not to mention Infamous was one of my more favorite title since the launch of the PS3

I say make a sly copper on the psp or give it for ready at dawn to work on it and then make infamous 2.
