Developer Rare Helping Develop Project NatalDeveloper Rare recently (and reluctantly) joined Twitter, and while most of the posts have been your typical fare thus far, one post stood out for rather obvious reasons.

Yesterday, as Kotaku reports, Rare posted the following message:

“Rare is recruiting designers. Excited by Natal? Got loads of cool new ideas? Think differently to others? Take a look on our website. [GM]”

That’s right. Rare is recruiting for Project Natal designers. Of course, it’s not at all surprising that the company is looking to boost its numbers, given its extensive involvement in Natal’s development, and the fact that the company is hard at work on an unspecified number of Natal-specific titles at the moment.

The application deadline is July 17, so if you haven’t applied yet, get to it!

Yeah im a ps3 guy but this was a big deal.Motion control with your body thats mad cool (see the movie "the island").For me though motion controls (like the ps3 is cool).I just think microsoft is a monopoly they get enough of are money with computers. The wii is telegraphed movements hopefully microsoft will get this working for you x-box guys. I hope ps3 gets the motion controls soon.I like the idea of having a controller with pinpoint accuracy (motion controls).

There is some amazing stuff, like the projector newspaper, and the touch screen computer spending only 14 bucks on.

as bad as Rare has gotten, it is still around. it has surpassed so many other companies that i wouldnt be surprised to see what they have up their sleeve.

That sucks. I have awesome ideas for a Wii game and possibly the Sony motion controller. But in all honesty, I don't want to come home from a long day at work and flail my arms all about like an epileptic monkey. Usually, I just want to sit on the couch and push buttons.

"The horn! The horn hath sounded!". Looking foward to a viva pinata game that lets you actually stand up and smash the animals.
