Those of you that do not want to pre-order Madden NFL 10 from GameStop in order to get access to the "exclusive" demo can rest easy knowing that a different demo will be released to the public on Xbox Live and PSN in late July.
In a statement to Shacknews, an EA representative explained the differences between the two demos:
"We will also be issuing a demo via Xbox Live and PSN that features the Giants vs. Cowboys with 2 minute quarters. The GameStop demo is exclusive in terms of content. For example, the GameStop exclusive demo features a rematch of Super Bowl XLIII featuring the Steelers vs. Cardinals with 5 minute quarters."
In other words, your $5 down gets you the Super Bowl with 12 extra minutes of gameplay before having to reboot. Do you think it's worth the pre-purchase?

I know what you mean. I pre-order both Prototype and Ghostbusters and didn't get any of the "FREE" stuff you get when you pick it up. Ghostbusters was the last time I pre-order anything from them!

idk, i guess if ur a hardcore madden fan it would be an alright deal...for five bucks u get extra gameplay and a guaranteed copy. i think its a good deal but ive played madden for a very long time

After all these years, can someone tell me why they can't make it so when there's less than 10 seconds on the game clock you don't have to pick a play that will never be pulled off before the clock runs out when you are playing the CPU? How long has the franchise been around? 20 years? And they can't enter one friggin line of code that would fix this annoyance? Really? It's in the game, but it's never been in their game.

or just pre-order it and then not buy the game you can always use the store credit for some other game if you like.
