Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 might be the most high profile and most anticipated military FPS of the year, but Codemasters believes its own Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising has what it takes to stand toe-to-toe with the Activision juggernaut, as well as every other shooter coming to market over the next few months, or ever, apparently.
As the game’s lead designer, Tim Brown, explained during E3 2009, Dragon Rising will offer a very different experience than that found in other run-and-gun shooters.
“The difference in our game…is that it’s all tactical. You’re not the hero. You tip the balance, but it’s not all down to you. You’re going to rely on your guys, and they’re going to rely on you.”
Brown went on to say that Dragon Rising will be “the most realistic shooter you’re going to see on a console ever.”
Predictions don’t really come any bolder than that, so be sure to check out the rest of the interview to see what has Brown so confident.

That's because this game separates the men from the boys!
In real combat if you get hit in major parts of the body, your chances of living are slim, not like COD!
This is not a arcade games BOYS!

this game looks cool but i could wait for it not like bad company 2

There is a big difference between saying that something is going to be big, and actually delivering on it. Need an example? Ok, remeber a few years ago when Peter Molenyeu said that Fable was going to be "The greatest RPG of all time"? I rest my case.

2 very different games, 2 different audiences, nuff said.

Games do not have to be realistic to be fun.

Yeah that's the way I feel MEH! Only time will tell, something tells me that when modern warfare 2 is out not very many people will be jumping on this.

I'm on GRAW2 all the time, still. I get sick of the maps sometimes and put it down for like a week, but I always go back to it eventually. Mainly because I always have friends on it.
If your on 360, anybody in the clan "Totally Random" (and there are hundreds) is cool as hell, they play clean, and only for the fun of it. Great people.
If you want more competitive (playing with cheaters), check out gamebattles.com.

You and anyone, hit me up. I need to clear some people off my list soon anyway. Please, give me an excuse.

This could be an awesome game, I'll be waiting for it, and as SourProphit said, ArmA 2
SourProphit
I lost interest in COD4 rather quickly, yet the only thing keeping me from playing GRAW these days is the lack of others online.
My hopes are high for this and ArmA II.

I had like a million more too. I was waiting to get to regenerating health and medipacks, but the hands and the trigger question is classic.
IcemanMX
continued from N8R's rant:
If I get shot, do I just have to duck behind cover and wait a while to heal or do I have to pick up health packs that can cure me of anything from a head wound to being hit by a jeep?
During the a firefight, does nothing but a long string of really bad swear words come out of my mouth?
Will my character be knowledgeable in being able to drive every vehicle known to man from a motorcycle to a tank to a helicopter?
If I get hit in my hands, will I still be able to pull the trigger?
If you die once, is the game over forever?
Will you be able to see your legs in this game at any point?
I got like a million more, but I'd like to see what other people can come up with.

This just looks like a graphical overhaul of America's Army. Not to say that's a bad thing, just that it doesn't seem that original.
N8R
Most realistic ever, huh? I got some questions then:
Will I get shot once and die or be at least temporarily out of the rest of the battle even if I AM wearing body armor?
Instead of respawning, will I have to spend another 28 hours in a convoy?
If a mosquito bites me on the field, do I risk malaria?
Will my guy get PTSD if I survive?
Will there be clueless groups of smart civilians back home that can't wait to tell my guy how wrong he is?
Will playing this game pay for college?
Just a few to start with...

i cant tell...

@nodrodee: Yeah, that maybe true but even with this footage, I am still going with Modern Warfare 2!
nodrodee
Nice, looks better then Modern Warfare 2.
