For whatever reason, publishers think it's a smart idea to provide exclusive content for fighting games coming out on multiple platforms at once. No thanks! Namco Bandai is guilty was such practices with Soul Calibur IV, but at E3, Tekken 6 game designer Michael Murray explained that would not be the case with their game.
"There's absolutely no difference between the two console versions," promised Murray. "The content is the same, and even if you have the screens side-by-side, you won't be able to tell the difference."

Tekken 6 in the arcades runs on the same headware that is based on PS3...SO IF BOTH CONSOLE VERSION (Xbox360 and Dirtstation 3) RUNS AND LOOKS LIKE THE arcade version (Just like SoulCalibur IV) I DON'T WANT HEAR MORE $ONY BULLCRAP FROM YA SOULESS PEOPLE!!!

I really wish they brought Virtua Fighter 5R over...THAT is the fighting game I want, not Tekken, which is okay, but it's only for the weak...

Tekken is weak sauce, Virtua Fighter is leaps and bounds above Tekken in terms of gameplay. Tekken=Button Mash Central...Virtua Fighter=Learning Curve unlike any other 3D fighter, pioneer and evolutionary....Tekken=Butterk nife....Virtua Fighter=Machete

no difference eh? i think a programmer over at namco/bandai just like all the other developers are lazy so the ps3 version will probably be a duplicate to the xbox360 specs.

Yes, there's no diff bec they decided to tone down the PS3 version in which they were going to make it 1080p than the arcade version w/c is only 720p, but since it's coming to xbox they'll have to use 720p on both platforms.

I'm content with my PS3 and the 3 games I have for it. No need for more, yet. Had a PSP but sold it since I didn't use it for like 6 months. Waiting for the new iPod Touch.

Now that the PS3 sets the Graphics bar so high it's hard to go multi-plat (pixelated) games with on my 1080p screen ... damn you 3fixme!

Fighting games lost me when Virtua Fighter launched.I still can't believe there hasn't been a title that's included FPS and fighting games along with RPG storytelling. Not sure why these all have to be discrete 'genres' anymore.
