Darksiders E3 2009 Creative Director InterviewJoe Madureira goes over the concept of Darksiders: Wrath of War, showing us many gameplay elements, as well as a the premise for the game.

At first glance, the game looks like a God of War clone... not so: "There's so much exploration. Not just combat, but there's puzzles to solve," explains Madureria. "There's areas you can unlock as War grows in strength. It's setup more so like an adventure game than a straight-up combat game."
