High Voltage Software’s upcoming sci-fi FPS The Conduit for the Wii packs some serious heat in the graphics department. In fact, it might just be the most technically impressive game on the console so far. Well, you won’t have to wait much longer to check it ouf for yourselves, as SEGA has just announced that the game has officially gone gold, and will be unleashing its alien-blasting action on Wii’s everywhere June 23.

I had a chance to play the game at E3 last week, and while the controls took some time to get used to, the game looked fantastic and (eventually) played great as well. Seriously, being able to toss a grenade by making a throwing gesture with the Wii’s nunchaku is a simple delight that never gets old. But I guess we’ll be able to put that assertion to the test in a couple weeks.
