It's been a few weeks since Sucker Punch and Sony dropped inFamous. Their open-world hero story was supposed to release closer to Activision and Radical Entertaniment's similar-playing Prototype. While anticipation for both games was riding high, now that most people have played through a chunk of inFamous (or in many cases, already finished it!), are you still going to be picking up Prototype? Tell us!

Since when is enjoying two similar games a sin? I'll be picking up Prototype when I get paid at the end of the week. Unfortunately I can't play Infamous - yet.
I don't have a PS3, but I must say Infamous looks pretty sweet. I just wish the price would come down on the PS3 already. I'm just not into paying $500 after taxes to play the one game that I think looks good (Although we'll see how I REALLY feel about this after GoW3 comes out.....).

both infamous and prototype are getting a rent for me. infamous reminds me of a comic stan lees nephew would make and it has so many spiderman undertones but along the lines of electro. prototype seems like an alright game since it has alot of cool mature elements. yet it seems like a venom like game using the incredible hulk ulimate destruction engine. both seem like fun for a wek but that's it. i'm saving my hard earned dough for uncharted 2, alan wake, god of war 3

with all this comments im seriously thinking about returning it back tomorrow with out even open the box.. it looked good to me but i havent heard so many good reviews ... im waiting for G4tv review....i watch then all the time....

Prototype sucks to be honest, the visuals for the game when i saw it online looked dumb. But after I bought the game, I gave that crap back to Gamestop and pre-orderd Arkham Asylum. Check out IGN their already giving it bad reviews. http://xbox360.ign.com/article s/992/992950p1.html

some of you are ridiculous. the freaking graphics look almost the same on both games. i wasnt feeling infamous cuz his powers were lame n so seemed the story. hoping prototype is better.

I'm not, but then again I found inFamous to be terribly trite. I might have taken the chance if inFamous was better and "got me in the mood," so to speak, but if anything it just killed it. Instead I just picked up Tiger Woods '10 for Wii and I'm loving it.

I'm still playing inFamous, but I have Prototype reserved so I'll pick it up tomorrow hopefully.
Really loving inFamous right now. If Prototype can match it, that would be just gravy.

Infamous is overrated. i played the demo and didnt find it interesting enought to buy. hoping for a prototype demo soon.

what the hell? it only needs to sell 17,000 to make a million. that means it got about 18 million dollars in may. also, it was only released for a couple of days that month. thats pretty good, even better in this economy.

inFamous is a blast...like many, I am on my second play through and I still LOVE it. Prototype never really looked all that intriguing to me...I am willing to give it a try though...rental for me.

Nope, Prototype looks too much like a Spider-man game, with a lot of over-used sayings. Plus, I've compared graphics, and Infamous just has an edge.

i checked infamous out, and i just couldnt get into it. i tried the demo and it just didnt do it for me, then bought the game to give it a chance and it reminded me of marc eckos getting up. so i just returned today for trade in value for prototype.
