It's been a few weeks since Sucker Punch and Sony dropped inFamous. Their open-world hero story was supposed to release closer to Activision and Radical Entertaniment's similar-playing Prototype. While anticipation for both games was riding high, now that most people have played through a chunk of inFamous (or in many cases, already finished it!), are you still going to be picking up Prototype? Tell us!

Infamous didn't sell soo hot it looks like, not even 200k. I picked it up and it's decent but I don't really know why it got such good scores, it wasn't outstanding by any means. I'm getting Protype soon.

PS3 exclusives dont sell as well as 360 exclusives but look at Killzone 2 or MGS4. They already sold millions of copies.

Yes, Infamous was awesome. Getting it today, i can't wait to play it, the free roaming looks great.

inFamous was a kick as game, probly one of the best games this year. Some liveing up to it won't be easy. But I picked up Red Faction Guerilla and that's keeping me occupied. So I'm just waiting for a Prototype demo to see if it's worth a buy.

So let me get this straight, you have ONLY played the demo of inFamous and yet you have the nerve to say it's overrated, that his powers were lame and that the story seemed to be as well. And to add insult to injury, you actually go further by saying some people commenting on here are ridiculous (pot calling the kettle black much?) when you made statements that should NEVER be uttered from a person unless they've actually PLAYED the full game. Wow... just wow lol.

bought infamous...amazing game..one of the first gems for the PS3 in a long time. Bought prototype yesterday, returned it 4 hours later. Ive played this game before it was Called Incredible hulk ultimate destruction and spiderman. It felt as though activision took two well selling games from their library and polished a few things with a new character. The animations in Prototype are the same for the dash and running up builings as incredible hulk..thanks for assuming the consumers wanted to play some re hashed game again activision. you are the sux!

Infamous played like a comicbook It was very original to the sandbox gameplay I'm just beat it a good and now I'm going back through as evil.
Prototype went the realism route I like them both
but Infamous has got me hooked right now

inFamous "Good" playthrough, Prototype "anit hero/villain", then inFamous "Evil" playthrough. Sounds like a solid summer of gaming to me.

I picked up Prototype yesterday and it's not as good as inFamous, but maybe I'm trying to judge it too much by comparison. In any case it is a fun game to play as long as you're not one of these aholes who manages to hate all games.

I'm waiting for reviews. I hate buying games that's just gonna stuck at the back of the stack. I loved infamous. I'm just afraid that because Prototype is a multi-platform game, developers are limited by the capacity of a dual layer DVD rather than a blueray. I would like to see more of the game features.

I havent yet got my copy but I do expect Prototype to be a good game. I own a xbox 360 but i have played infamous and its great so i say that probably both those games are equal as fun. for those who say it looks like hulk well duh the people that created proto had created hulk te game. LIKE DUH!!!!!!!!!!
