Xbox Live's bargain basement deal of the week is the Gears of War 2: Combustible Multiplayer Map Pack. So if you were hoping for a discount on a two year old arcade game, you're going to be disappointed. Normally 800 points, the Combustible Multiplayer Map Pack is now available for Xbox Live Gold Members for 560 points.
Gears of War 2: Combustible Multiplayer Map Pack takes place in a frozen setting described officially thusly:
Winter approaches. War rages on. Entire cities are sinking, swallowed by a new threat from below. Soon humanity will have nothing left to defend. Only one option remains: an all-out attack on the Locust Horde.
The Combustible maps will also be available as part of the Gears of War 2 All Fronts collection that's coming out on July 28th for $15.

But it's true what everyone says about the lag. It is completely unbearable as soon as i get into a laggy game i leave i dont give a f about penalty

I totally agree with down311. They need WAY faster servers. I would play a couple hours a day and everyday it would have either a person lagswitching, or just all around lag. They need to step it up to be with the competition

I play the multiplayer at least a couple hours every day, but why buy this map pack when All Fronts Combined comes out in July?

I have no desire to play that game. The campaign was really fun, HORDE was sweet but the broken multiplayer ended my relationship with Epic for good.
