I was able to describe the first artwork for the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for Wii earlier this week, but Nintendo wouldn't let anyone in attendance take a picture. Thankfully, though, it released the artwork officially today. What do you think this tells us about the next Zelda game?

@ Maiarke: This is a Wii game so they are going to have Link use his left hand for the Shield and the right hand for the Sword. If you played Twilight Princess you'd see that in there as well.

the hole in wall maybe the ruins of TEMPLE OF TIME (yes caps lock) and the red maybe fire or something like that; this title could explain wat happen to the TEMPLE OF TIME in twilight.

That's some pretty neat artwork. I'd like to see where Miyamoto takes the franchise with this game. While the games with Toon Link (that's what I'm calling him, now) are fine for the DS, having a mature Zelda game is always fun.
I really do need to finish Twilight Princess, now...

i am 100% sure that that girl is the master sword. just look, her cape looks like the hand guard, the pattern on her legs resembles the grip on the hilt, her head is sharp, and she even has the same gemstone on her chest that the master sword has on the hilt. this is going to be so bad @$$!!! she will probably instruct you on how to swing her with the Wiimote :P

My 3 thoughts are she either looks like a zora, one of Midnas race from TP, or the master sword. Im most definately going to say the master sword because she is on his back, he is swordless, and she resembles the sword slightly in that her head apears sharp and her cape resembles the wings of the hilt.

Link has always Been right handed except in the Hand held games. Hes usually Ambidextrous. I'm going to go with everyone else on this saying shes related to the Master sword some how.
