E3 2009 is over and done and according to those in the know, this year's show was one of the best in recent memory. This year's E3 seemed to hit its stride, successfully melding the big, booming party atmosphere with quality games that people were anxious to try out.

i would bet my cash on the most hard core action games, such as god of war 3,splinter cell conviction,dead rising 2 (if it's there),uncharted 2 and heavy rain.

Let's not forget how many fanboys also said the Ps3 copied the Wii with motion control, it's funny how they forget about that when the 360 does the same thing.

Its fun to watch all the fanboys jump onto the motion controller wagon after calling the Wii remote a gimmick for the last few years.

Mod Nation Racers for some odd reason looks enjoyable and fun to play. Assassins Creed 2 again is over hyped and by the gameplay footage I don't see the "much improved combat" they are claiming. At least the producers had the balls to admit that AC1 sucked. I am sure something top notch will come out of nowhere to be game of 2010 kinda like what InFamous is doing.

Sony isn't saying "F-U" to us. They are making money on the PS3, they aren't going to cut the price until they need it or until nobody buys it anymore, The Ps3 is selling enough for Sony to feel happy, and that's buisness. Sony is getting money from us so why do they need to change that to fit you? They won't, until like I said they need it to do well. But Sony says they want to be the best not neccesarily the first.
But for best in Show Sony wins, MS just had Natal, Splinter Cell, and L4D2. Sony had much much much more to show this year than MS did, and I think more important, which IMO means they win.

Best tech achievement? Gotta go with the PS3 motion tech. It showed true 1:1 movement in realtime with no lag AND depth recognition. The presentation was nowhere near as wowing as the Natal demo with a prerendered cut scene, but the actual real time demonstration of the tech and its abilities was a lot more impressive to me. When I saw people using Natal, there was a large amount of lag between action performed and movement on screen. Plus Natal seemed to be little more than a slightly enhanced version of the Playstation Eye.

Nope Sony said F-the fans. If they want a system they need to shell out the money. Sony is banking on ps2 owners to save up some money and then buy the ps3. Sorry guy blow people are jumping ship and buying a 360 because they can afford it. Sony is shooting there own feet. Besides it's all been done before.

I wasnt able to catch the Sony press conference. did they mention a price drop on the PS3 at all? if so when do we see it? if not they need to cut their losses cuz the only way they will get more systems in homes is to lower the price.

i no right comcast is trash for removing g4 im about to complain to them... but the best thing about e3 was modern warfare trailer and god of war looked sickkk also ratchet and clank game its always been good and this 1 looks better. nintento had some pretty cool stuff to a new mario and the metroid that comes out in a year from now almost but you know wat i would like to see come to the wii? a new vertical joe game that game was awesome for gamecube
