E3 2009: Final Fantasy VII Available Now On PlayStation Network

Final Fantasy VII .

It's a very Final Fantasy E3.

First was the bombshell revelation that Final Fantasy XIV is in the works and will be an MMORPG for both the PlayStation 3 and PC, then some cool new action from Final Fantasy XIII, and now comes word that Final Fantasy VII, regarded by some as the best Final Fantasy RPG, is available right now for download on the PlayStation Network for both the PSP and the PlayStation 3.

Personally, I'm not "into" Final Fantasy. I've really tried to get into this series, as it seems to mean so much to so many people, but the truth is, I'm just not able to enjoy it. It's just not my thing. What about you? Are you into Final Fantasy? Which number is your ultimate favorite?

X is my favorite. Followed by VII and VIII. X and XII had the best OST's for me.

The game is just plain awe-some, being able to use my old PS1 saves for the PSN version is just icing on the cake. Props for those that said that Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of The Lions as being the best Final Fantasy.

FFX was basically the game that killed RPGs for me. I used to play RPGs like crazy and get every item and secret in the game, FFX was soooooooo boring it put me off of RPGs for a looooong time. And since the other Final Fantasy games are as bad, yea, universally lame is perfectly accurate.

Except the original/War Of The Lions Tactics (Tactics Advanced kinda sucked too)the original FFT was badass.

it's only lame to people with short attention spans. ff games are about the stories and characters, and for the most part they're great.

haters aside, the best final fantasies are in order from greatest to least
1.ff6 best story battle system characters period
2.ff7 great story nice battle system lot of great moments in vg history
3.ff10 great battle system very VERY pretty visuals
4.ff9 very interesting characters amazing worlds and presentation
5.ff12 nice change of pace for the battle system great visuals interesting take on leveling characters

Except Final Fantasy Tactics. Tactics is badass.
