At its E3 press conference today, Nintendo showed off a first look at intriquing new Nintendo DS Game C.O.P: The Recruit.
According to Nintendo, the Ubisoft-developed game is geared toward fans of "gritty, open-world gaming." You'd think Nintendo might have learned something about the handheld audience's feelings toward gritty, urban drama from the non-success of GTA: Chinatown Wars. Afterall, if the Grand Theft Auto name and Chinatown Wars' solid gameplay didn't sell units, I'm not sure what will. It will be interesting to see how this one sells. I think the G4 audience who watches Cops 2.0 every day all day will probably love a game like this. :p
