James CameronDirector James Cameron (Titanic, Terminator) was on hand at Ubisoft's press conference yesterday, and the well-known director spoke at length about his team-up with Ubisoft for the Avatar game. According to Cameron, it's the world's first stereoscopic, 3D video game...plus it has gigantic blue people. How can it miss?

We've been hearing about Avatar for a while now, and no video was shown at the press event... but, according to Ubisoft, the game will be available in demo form next week. No word on whether you'll need 3D glasses to play it, but even if I have to track down a pair, it'll be worth it to play Avatar, and check out the "convergence between games and film" that Ubisoft was hawking at its press conference.
