Among the many revelations at Microsoft's E3 2009 press conference was the confirmation that Metal Gear Solid is coming to the 360. Hideo Kojima was on hand at the conference to show off Metal Gear Solid Rising. The new game won't star Solid Snake, instead, Raiden will be the focus of the game. Lightning bolt!
According to Kojima, Rising is a "completely new Metal Gear game and you can look forward to many more.” Other than that, the man had little more to say about the title.
"I can't say more now," Kojima said, "but I can promise you that it will be a completely new experience."
What do you think, gamers? Is this huge news or what?

Oh yeah Kojima...give them a compressed watered down Metal Gear...and Oh! they wont play as Solid Snake. Even the speaker was excited about snake until Kojima stoped him saying not snake (xbots wont get that joy)but raiden. lol

Sony fans lets not hate on MGS or Raiden since its going to the 360...You loved him and the game on PS3 and should love it on 360.
360 fanboys stop acting like yall won a prize or something...you finally get to play a great franchise that you should have played long time ago if you werent loyal to a system. Be loyal to games not systems. You guys are the same ones who were bashing MGS4 just a few months ago, o dont flip flop just because its on your favorite system now...
Anyway I have to say I am disappointed from the whole MS press conference...they had all this secret behind it and what they announced was really mediocre...Sad to say it but I honestly feel the 360 peaked..and adding difference multimedia, motion contols and buying exclusives is not going to change that.

I just hope i dont hear all those people who said metal gear 4 was a movie say the same thing to their version of the MGS, we'll see.

it isn't like the Microsoft hasn't seen MGS. ON the Gamecube there was a MGS game, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Sankes, so if Kojima put a game on the gamecube, then i thinks it ok if he puts a spinoff MGS game on the 360 and PS3
