I noticed something odd about Sega's lineup of "vintage classics" to be released this summer -- all but Gunstar Heroes are coming "exclusively" to Xbox Live Arcade. Treasure's old-school shooter is the only one making an appearance on PlayStation Network. Will that change? Not yet, according to the Sega representative I asked this afternoon.
"As of now," said a rep, "Gunstar Heroes is the only one out of the Vintage collection coming to PSN."
By the end of the summer, Xbox Live Arcade will also see Altered Beast, Shinobi, Comix Zone, Phantasy Star 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic and Knuckles.
There is a little bit of hope from Sega there, PlayStation owners; the company did say "as of now." I'll try and bug someone at Sega next week at E3 and find out more.
