By now, dear readers, you've no doubt come to learn that we here at G4tv.com have eyes and ears everywhere at all times (Hey, Tom in Tucson. Gross man). So it should come as no surprise that we were able to send one of our top spies down to the LA Convention Center to take a few snappy-snaps of the E3 '09 show floor before the masses descend upon it in just a few days time.
Well, that’s where all the G4 E3 ’09 magic will happen starting this Tuesday. Of course, it should look just a tad different by then. “How different?” Well, you’ll just have to tune in to find out!
G4 crewmembers work themselves to death just so you can have the most comprehensive and state-of-the-art E3 viewing experience as possible. You’re welcome.
Random, ominous camera? Or sneaky promotion for Portal 2? You be the judge.
I believe this is the scaffold peripheral for that new Guitar Hero: Stage Crew we’ve been hearing about.
Just think. In a few days time, that floor will be covered with countless exhibitors and hundreds of PR reps screaming, “I actually can’t talk about that right now...”
Now that Capcom’s Keiji Inafune isn’t coming, who knows what exhibitors will do with this germ-free pleasure dome.
By using Microsoft’s staging area as cover, Sony has been able to sneak several not-so-cleverly-disguised PlayStation Slims onto the show floor.
There’s the machine that King of Kong star Steve Wiebe will use to attempt to break gaming legend Billy Mitchell’s world record score for Donkey Kong live on G4 on Tuesday!
And that giant ring will be the staging area for my alien brethren's first steps towards world domination…I mean, will be where something having to do with gaming will happen…Whew!
