Yesterday, eager BioShock-ers everywhere learned that they will have to wait until November 3 before diving back into the underwater nightmare of Rapture. Then earlier today hunky prison-breaker Wentworth Miller hinted at being part of the on-again-off-again BioShock movie. Well, now there appears to be even more Bioshock love on the way…in book form!
Gamasutra reports that a novelization of everyone’s favorite deep-sea dystopian tale is in the works, and will be published by sci-fi giants and game novelization regulars Tor, publishers of the Halo series of game-inspired novels, and the recently released Dragon Age prequel, The Stolen Throne.
The author of the 400-page BioShock book is still unknown, however the game’s writer and lead designer, Ken Levine, is listed as such, but that could just as easily be a concept credit. The novelization is expected to be released in the Fall, so if you are as obsessed as I am with the lore of Rapture, feel free to start your countdown clocks…now!
Any game novelization readers out there?

Yes I read game novels all the time. But I only read it if the game had a good story or the game was good. I would read a book based on Bioshock that game had a good story and game play.
