Because it is the most exciting game in video game history, I feel I must update you on every aspect of The Beatles: Rock Band. The music game comes out on the Wii, PS3 and 360 on September 9th, and will feature custom guitars styled after the Beatles' axes, possibly support for harmony singing, and the freakin' music of the freakin' Beatles. Today's piece of news: The background on the Beatles: Rock Band site has changed. It used to look like a rehearsal space, and now it's a dead ringer for the set of the Ed Sullivan Show.
Notice how the set is progressing through the stages of the Beatles career? From rehearsing to taking over the American airwaves in 1964? Next stop: The psychedelic period! I assume that these backgrounds will be in the games, after all, making a Beatles game and not having part of it take place on The Ed Sullivan Show wouldn't make sense.
Pro Tip: In preparation for this game's release, practice a Beatle-esque Liverpool accent. It won't help your playing, but it will crack up your friends.
