Attention comic-book nerds (like me): Captain Marketing Major Nelson has announced this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week and it just might interest you. On tap is the H/V Pack for Marvel Ultimate Alliance. This update adds eight new playable characters -- four heroes and four villains. The good guys are Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Hawkeye, and Hulk. The baddies are Magneto, Dr. Doom, Venom, and Sabretooth. Instead of the usual 800 Microsoft Points, the H/V pack will be on sale for a week at 560 points.

I'm super tempted to buy this one. I love the action-RPG style of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends. I particularly enjoy hanging back as a projectile character, so Cyclops and Hawkeye are right up my alley. Messing around with the dastardly Dr. Doom and Venom should be fun too. Ah screw it, I'll buy it now.

Anyone out there interested in this week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week? A lot of the Major's followers think this deal is bunk, but I'm totally into it. Psyched to play as any of these characters?
