Id To Release Six New And Classic Maps For 'Quake Live' Over Next Six Weeks

If your love for Quake knows no bounds, then chances are the browser-based Quake Live has eaten away the last bits of free time that you thought were safe from outside influence.

If that's the case, then you'll be pleased to know that there is even more Quake-y goodness headed your way in the form of six new and classic maps being released for Quake Live once a week over the next six weeks.

Fans of Quake III Arena for the Dreamcast will undoubtedly recognize the first map, "Hidden Fortress", which should be released sometime today. Id says that it's only made minor changes to the map, which means fans can expect plenty of nostalgia fragging, all from the comfort of their Internet browsers. My how far we have come.
