Electronic Arts has signed an "outbound marketing" deal with Creative Minx Marketing. The deal covers numerous EA properties, including The Sims, MySims, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Dante's Inferno, and Army of Two. The relationship should result in oodles of merchandise for these franchises. In today's press release, Patrick O'Brien, vice president of EA Entertainment, said:
Creative Minx also works with Activision in a similar capacity. From the company's unimpressive web site -- which shows off several pictures of some truly gaudy belts -- I have no idea how it signed two of the biggest publishers in the business. Call me crazy, but I expect a marketing company's web site to dazzle me (in a professional way).
I'm not really sure what an outbound marketing relationship consists of, but if it means getting a set of Dragon Age chain mail then I'm all for it! What about you guys and dolls? Any EA merchandising possibilities excite you? Do you want your very own Army of Two mask? How about a set of Master Spectre Gear?
