There have been hundreds of desktop tower defense games in the past few years, but few were as charming as last year's Ninjatown for the DS. Ninjatown was the brainchild of Shawnimals artist Shawn Smith, former editor for Electronic Gaming Monthly and a personal friend of mine.
If you want to see another Ninjatown game, though, you're going to have to demand it from publisher SouthPeak Games. SouthPeak has yet to commit to another adventure in Ninjatown, prompting Smith to ask fans over Twitter to start bombarding SouthPeak with demands for a Ninjatown 2.
Right now, the best way to tell SouthPeak your demands is through its Twitter account, but Smith promises he's looking into some other options, too. I'll update this post throughout the day, as Smith reveals where to voice your support.
Of course, this story assumes you -- like me -- enjoyed Ninjatown enough to want a sequel. Do you?
