Hey, PS3 owners. Are you tired of pulling off sick trick after sick trick in the ATV madhouse that is Pure without any virtually tangible representation? Then you’ll be happy to hear that trophies are indeed headed your way via an update being released on May 6.
Disney Interactive Studios’ senior global brand manager Mitch Powers (awesome name, but his business cards must be huge) says the update will add over 30 trophies to the game, divided into gold, silver and bronze, with a platinum trophy becoming unlocked once you have earned all the other trophies.
This is certainly good news for trophy whores, but I think it will be a bit frustrating to have to go back through the game and find all the places where a trophy can be unlocked. Here’s hoping it’s a much more elegant system than the one I just described. Then again, I'm sure fans of the game will be happy to play therough it again, especially since this time they won't have to constantly compliment themselves.
