We've got a mystery on our hands, folks: Call Scooby and Shaggy! No, it's not a ghost at the old amusement park, instead it's a mysterious new game that Square Enix is teasing. Square has put up a page for the game at aptly-URLed: www.square-enix.co.jp/mystery/ which reveals a futuristic city-scape accompanied by a cacophony of gunshots and explosions and a quote from John F. Kennedy's inaugural address reading:
"The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life."
Wow, deep thoughts, eh, people?
The city on the page is obviously under attack, and clicking your mouse on different spots can cause explosions, but we find no other hints on the page. The speculation is the game is the first tease of Front Mission Evolved, or maybe Vanguard Storm, both of which were trademarked by the company recently. I'll bet we'll know more at this year's E3 in June. Feel free to speculate in our comment section.
