Despite the innocently clumsy translation, PS3 Hyper’s breakdown of a recent Famitsu interview with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete director Tetsuya Nomura, co-director Takeshi Nozue and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima contains some pretty interesting tidbits. The majority of the article discusses the team’s collaborative process, including who proposed specific sequences, the importance of character interactions in the film, and so on. It’s an fairly informative read, but rabid Final Fantasy XIII fiends will be most interested in the last two sentences of the article.
According to Nomura, voice recording for FFXIII is close to wrapping up and four designers have been assigned to Final Fantasy Agito XIII, due mainly to the large number of characters in the game. It’s hard to say what this all means in terms of the productions going forward, but it’s still nice to know things are progressing.
