Tuvalu Sinking: .TV In Danger

Due to global warming, the tiny island nation of Tuvalu is in danger of sinking into the sea. Scientists predict that the country has between 30 and 50 years before it entirely disappears under the unforgiving waves of the ocean.

"But, Stephen," I hear you saying. "I don't live in Tuvalu and global warming is a fraud invented by Al Gore and the liberal, elitist media so we will be forced to become socialists anyway. Why should I care?" Well, here's why you should care. You know that "dot TV" internet top level domain? The reason it exists is because the nation of Tuvalu exists. The crafty little tropical country started selling .tv addresses several years ago, and since then, it has been doing okay with the scheme. But soon, maybe not so much.

GoDaddy.com, internet name parking service, has recommended you not buy a .tv address, noting "The island of Tuvalu is sinking." Luckily, I've registered OhMyGodWereSinking.tv.
