EA has announced the four cover athletes who will appear on the upcoming college football game NCAA Football 10, to be released this summer. Each is an achiever in their own right, and at least three of them are slated to be first round picks in this Saturday's first round of the NFL Draft. Let's meet them, shall we?
Brian Orakpo - University of Texas - A monster defensive end, Orakpo is a fearsome pass rusher with amazing speed and tenacity. winning, among other awards, the coveted Bronko Nagurski trophy, presented to the Defensive Player of the Year.
Mark Sanchez - University of Southern California - The quarterback of the mighty Trojan offense, Sanchez led the team to a very impressive 12-1 record, and a trip to the Rose Bowl, where he was named the Most Valuable Player.
Brian Johnson - Utah - Under Johnson's leadership, as quarterback of the team, the Utes became the only undefeated team in Division I college football. They also bested #4 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to make their record a sparkling 13-0.
Michael Crabtree - Texas Tech - Crabtree was the elite receiver in college football in 2008, making play after play in Texas Tech's very successful 2008 campaign, and was the spark that led the Red Raiders over the Texas Longhorns to keep them out of the NCAA Championship chase.
