EA Sports has announced that it will be offering a bundle of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 that comes with the Wii MotionPlus accessory. The bundle will cost $10 more than the standalone game in North America. European gamers will have access to this bundle, as well as one featuring Grand Slam Tennis. In today's press release, EA Sports president Peter Moore said:
This is a big win for EA Sports and Nintendo. For the former, it makes an incredibly popular game even more appealing. For the latter, it helps get a vital accessory out to its user base.
Personally, I'm disappointed that America won't be getting the Grand Slam Tennis bundle. I played the game briefly in March and was pretty impressed with it. Since tennis isn't nearly as popular in America as it is in Europe, I understand why the decision was made. That aside, even in the limited time I spent with both games, it was clear that Wii MotionPlus made a pretty significant difference in gameplay. For Wii gamers that want to get the most out of their games, it's a must-have accessory.
Any of you excited by the bundle? Does the inclusion of Wii MotionPlus make Tiger 10 a more attractive purchase for you?
