'Legends of Zork' Launches

Legend of Zork

Jolt Online Gaming picked a really funny day to announce its new project, but Legends of Zork launched today, no joke. Legends of Zork (or LOZ as the cool kids call it) is a browser-based MMO set in the world of old-school text adventure Zork. Happily (or sadly, if you're nostalgic) the game is not text-based. Instead, Legends of Zork uses graphical interface that allows you interact with the world of Zork by pointing and clicking.

Should you choose to sign up, you can visit all the sights you remember from the seminal 70s and 80s adventure games, create characters, collect treasure, battle foes, and upgrade your equipment.

The price is right, too. Legends of Zork is free to play, so there's really no reason not to revisit the Great Underground Empire.
