'Oblivion' DLC Half-Off, Except The Horse Armor!

If you've been looking for a reason to blow the dust off your copy of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, here's a perfect excuse: Almost all the DLC for the game is half-price for the next week. Why "almost" and not "all?" Because Bethesda has a sense of humor. To celebrate the third anniversary of its release (and April Fool's Day), Bethesda has jacked the price of the game's infamously useless Horse Armor from $2.50 to $5.00. They really did it, too. Take a look.

Here's Bethesda's official word on the matter:

"In celebration of the arrival of April, the wackiness of April Fool’s Day, and the upcoming 3rd anniversary of the release of Horse Armor (Friday, April 3), we are pleased to announce that for the next week all Oblivion DLC for Xbox 360 is half price, except for Horse Armor, which is twice as much as usual."

That's almost funny enough for me to actually lay out hard-earned ducats for a costume for a fake animal in a game I stopped playing years ago. Almost.

Click the cut for a list of the "real" Oblivion content that will be available in order of sales popularity.
