Game developer Titmouse announced that it has secured the rights to fiction in seminal boobs, sci-fi and sorcery comic magazine Heavy Metal. Titmouse will mak games based on the mag's most popular stories, starting with an action game based on Fistful of Blood. Titmouse (which has the right name for the job) will work closely with Heavy Metal publisher and Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles creator Kevin Eastman.
Described as an "over-the-top action game about an Alien Bounty Huntress who comes to earth in search of the creature that killed her father, only to find herself caught in a blood feud between rival gangs of Vampires and Zombies," Fistful of Blood will contain "enough aliens, zombies, vampires, guns, blood, gore, vengeance, and sexy chicks... to take down a stampeding elephant." That's how Aaron Habibipour, creative director for Titmouse Games describes the title.
Information on consoles, release date or other details haven't been revealed as of yet. But I've put in a call to Titmouse and hope to have some more details for you soon. Titmouse has vowed to "keep it real" with digital downloads, so I gotta imagine Fistful of Blood and future Heavy Metal inspired games will be download titles.
