MTV has reported that Motley Crue might be working on a Crue-branded version of Guitar Hero. I heard some very loose rumors along the same lines last month, but couldn't find anything to back it up. The article noted:
I'm totally down for Guitar Hero: Motley Crue. While his cohorts were making interesting home movies, Mick Mars' guitar playing was often overlooked. His work on Too Fast for Love and Shout at the Devil was raw and fun. While the albums that followed those were more commercial and overproduced, he still busted out some memorable guitar licks. I truly believe that Mick Mars is one of the most underrated guitarists of his era.
On a side note, I can't stand Carrie Underwood's cover of Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home." It's annoying and unnecessary. MTV reported that Crue's Nikki Sixx hopes to write songs with Underwood. I was hoping that The Crue would do something really bad to her for butchering one of the best hair-metal ballads of all time.
Anyway, would you buy Guitar Hero: Motley Crue? I'm worried that some of you might not even remember them...or worse, you only know of fat Vince Neil and have never seen him in his mascara-covered glory-days.
