The Maw

Valve has added support for in-game DLC to Steam -- its digital distribution platform. The first title to take advantage of this new feature is The Maw which will offer two new levels with The Maw: Brute Force and The Maw: River Redirect. They are both available for $1.25 through the regular Steam store.

On the support, Valve clarifies that "DLC can now be added to any game on Steam, regardless of whether it was originally purchased via Steam, at retail, or via other digital outlets. It is also a feature of Steamworks, the suite of free tools and services available to game developers and publishers."

Now if I could only get my Fallout 3 DLC through Steam, instead of Games for Windows Live...
