As many of you know, I had to send in my Xbox 360 Elite for repair...for the frickin' second time this year. My new unit has arrived today, after an approximate two weeks turnaround time. While I'm excited to get some Street Fighter IV going on again, I'm almost scared to open the box. My experience with this Elite has been so disheartening. While I know in my head that it's just one faulty console out of millions of functioning ones, I'm worried about the future of my Elite.
Should I be wary of it and only use it for "work" purposes? I'd love to raise my GamerScore to acceptable levels (it's low since I play most of my stuff on a debug system), but I don't want to go through another repair process. Should I start racking up PlayStation 3 Trophies instead of Achievements? Should I forego opening the box and preemptively send it back with a note that says, "Hey guys. It's only going to break again. I thought I'd be proactive and get it to you straight away."
What do you think I should do? Tell me what I should do. Help me,
Obi-Wan Kenobi dear readers of TheFeed, you're my only hope.
