GameStop has posted their pre-order page for the collector's edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum. And it just so happened to list all the extras that come with the $99.99 price tag for about an hour. GameStop has since removed the list of extra goodies, replacing it with "Final contents of collector’s edition are to be determined." Huh.
Well, if we're to believe the original list was accurate, Batman loving gamers with the extra cash will be treated to a 12" Batarang (hell yes), a DC Encylcopedia, a bonus DVD with behind the scenes features, the soundtrack, and the "DLC Pack 1". This confirms that Batman: Arkham Asylum will have extra downloadable content after its release, but whether that means more actual gameplay or just extra costumes is unclear. If this IS what we get with the collector's edition, once this game comes out on June 9, everyone in the G4 offices better be prepared to duck at a moment's notice. There will be a lot of flying projectiles being thrown around, I'm sure of it.
