I'm off to the Resident Evil 5 launch event in San Francisco. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to snap some interesting pictures and conduct a few interviews. Capcom has already announced the "versus mode" downloadable content for the game, as well as a bunch of classic remakes for the Wii. It seems that the company wants to infect everyone on every platform with some form of the Progenitor Virus.

Will any of you be attending a Resident Evil 5 launch event? Do you think the game is big enough to warrant a midnight launch? Personally, I think Street Fighter IV is a bigger deal for the company, but I won't complain about Capcom releasing two big games in Q1.
