Capcom To Make Wii Owners "Very Happy"

REsident Evil 5

According to a Joystiq interview with Capcom's Associate Product Marketing Manager Matt Dahlgren, gamers with a Wii will soon be "Very happy." Specifically, when asked about a Wii version of RE 5, Dahlgren said: "[Resident Evil 5] was made for the Xbox 360 and PS3. That being said, Nintendo Wii fans will be very happy, very soon."

When asked if Capcom planned an announcement during this month's GDC or at E3 later this year, Dahlgren said, "Very soon."

This happiness could take many forms. Given the context of the statement, Dahlgren may be talking about a Wii port of Resident Evil 5. Kind of like Chop til You Drop, but with Resident Evil, maybe? But he could be referring to a Wii re-make of earlier Resident Evil 5, or Umbrella Chronicles 2...or it could be another Wii game totally unrelated to RE that will make Wii owners happy. Or it could be a fortune-cookie prediction based on general emotional well-being as opposed to a game related announcement.

The fact that we really don't know that much shouldn't stop you from speculating in our comment section -- it's never stopped you before! So make your prediction below. Get it right and you will earn a hearty "You are the goodest at picking Wii games!" award from TheFeed. Extra credit for correctly choosing the date of the announcement.
