Social networking Website Facebook is getting a facelift. Beginning March 11, the fake-friend aggregation site will be changing in the following ways:
Better filters for the news feed: The current influx of status updates, photo uploads and comments can create too much "noise." The new design lets members filter their news feed quickly and remove friends or public figures that clog the stream with updates. Not only that, but you'll be able to "slice" the feed into categories, so your friend Dave's "news" won't get mixed up with The Wall Street Journal's. The news feed will update faster, too.
Publish content faster: Facebook users will be able to post photos, notes and other content directly to the status update filed. Facebook will also changed the default text from “what are you doing right now” to “what’s on your mind." Which is a lot more pressure, if you ask me!
