The next issue of Nintendo Power magazine drops some details on upcoming vehicular-mayhem game Excitebots: Trick Racing.

The game is a Wii sequel to ExciteTruck that will feature a vehicle lineup including four-wheeled animals and insects. They include bats, ladybugs, mantises, beetles and turtles, but no trucks. The trucks were jettisoned because it was felt that the wilder, more insane stunts of Excitebots called for different kids of vehicles. And you don't get much more "different" than a frog car! Like its predecessor, winning a race is secondary to good looking stunts.  And Excitebots allows you to win a race even if you don't cross the finish line first.
