
Back in 2007, Publisher Sierra announced that World in Conflict would be coming to the 360, then the company said the sequel World in Conflict: Soviet Assault was headed to the PS3. Fast-forward a couple years: Sierra's parent company has been assimilated by Activision, and the hope for a console version of WIC.
Ubisoft picked up the series with World in Conflict developer, Massive Entertainment. but isn't going to put out a console version at all. Ubisoft provided this statement to IGN: "World of Conflict: Soviet Assault will be released for the PC later this month. A console version of World in Conflict is not planned for release at this time."
