A pink bottlenose dolphin has been spotted in Louisiana. While experts believe that this dolphin is an albino or an oddly mutated specimen, I'm pretty sure it's the real-world equivalent of a shiny Pokemon. Trainers in the know understand that shiny Pokemon are extremely rare variations with special coloring. In the mainline Pokemon role-playing games, the chances of catching a shiny Pokemon are 1 in 8,192.

Charter boat captain Erik Rue noted, "It was absolutely stunningly pink. I had never seen anything like it. It's the same color throughout the whole body and it looks like it just came out of a paint booth."
Feel free to believe that the dolphin accidentally swam through a paint booth. I will believe that it's a shiny Pokemon. What say you?!?

An unknown species as well, just wait until they reach that side of America in game.
