In addition to getting a trio of Coldplay songs (“The Scientist,” “Speed of Sound,” and “In My Place.”) on March 13, Microsoft has announced that its Lips singing game will also get an important update in early March. The update will fix things that irk competitive karaoke players and the eight people that saw Duets in theaters.
"For singers with a competitive streak, an upcoming title update scheduled for early March will provide improved scoring, better vibrato detection and initiate global Leaderboards that will allow players to see how their performances rank compared to other Lips fans around the world."
The good news is that the update will make for a more accurate play experience. The bad news is that it will relegate many players to a Normund Gentle level.
