Rapper, entrepreneur, and gunshot victim 50 Cent said he's buying the rights to Saints Row in order to make a motion picture based on the open-world gang-violence simulator.
On a conference call to promote the video game 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Fiddy said:
With my relationship with THQ, they'll actually see me develop Saint's Row into an actual screenplay and into a film project. I'm optioning the rights for that right now, so they'll see that before they see me do it from my own perspective for my game.
I'm sure 50 Cent will do a fantastic job developing the Saint's Row movie, After all, he was the star and inspiration behind cinematic masterpiece Get Rich or Die Trying.
