There's a fairly good chance the world is going to end tomorrow...at least the world of Unix. Tomorrow will mark the 1,234,567,890 second since the Unix epoch. According to 1234567890day.com:
"It's time to party like it's 1234567890 -- 'cause it is! On this Friday, Feb 13 at exactly 3:31:30 PM (PST), Unix time (WTF is Unix time?) will equal '1234567890'."
To celebrate this numerical oddity (and the end of existence), people are throwing parties in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Nairobi, Vienna, and more.
What are your party plans on the (possibly) last day of life as we know it? As some of you know, I'll be attending the Street Fighter IV launch party tonight. I'll get to see my ex-wife Melody (she works for Capcom) for the last time and...beat the snot out of TheFeed's Brian Leahy in SFIV. There are definitely worse ways to go out.
