New details have been released on Left 4 Dead's upcoming "Survival Mode. The game's new mode will feature "up to four players [set] records for the longest time surviving hordes of zombies on over 12 maps." Zombie Horde mode? Awesome!
The upcoming update, which has been dubbed the "Survival Pack" will be released on the PC and Xbox 360 this Spring, will also include playable Versus mode versions of the "Dead Air" and "Death Toll".
Also, PC gamers will be getting access to the game's software development kit soon, which will allow gamers to create their own campaigns for play on the PC.
What do you think of this new mode? Personally, I like the idea more than Versus itself, but I hope the 12 maps are new and not just subsections of existing campaigns.
